If the basis of the report was about how outlandish the content was, then I think CNN needs to focus more on the bigger problem then some h-game maker trying to make a few bucks off their rape simulator. The counter argument would be to say that, if I played a first persons shooter, I would be influenced to kill someone overtime, which isn't necessarily the case either.ĭo I think the content goes too far? Maybe, but to single out this one type of game and not look at the bigger problem, which is the degradation of women through pornography and the effect it has on people with unlimited access outside games, is a bit of a miss. Of course, you could argue, well someone wouldn't be influenced by the thrill of winning such a game if they didn't exist.

What's being missed here is that even if hentai games (Japanese pornographic games) didn't exist, there is still way more free access to the same kind of material on the internet. Admittedly, I'm a gamer and an older one at that, so I am a bit biased, but let's put that aside. Kyra calls herself a news person? Poppycock!!! Kyra and CNN are just propaganda distribution points shame on you all. I bet you won't read this post on the air because we can't have the sheep you've careful lulled to sleep stirring from thier slumber and rejecting your fox like "this is the story and this is how you should feel about it" tones.

Keep it up CNN and we will live in a world where fun is dictated by whoever owns the most tv channels or has the most lobyist. How would CNN react if someone came and "raped" them with with thier "Opinionation" the way CNN and these so called womans groups are forcing thier opinion on people who want to make or buy a product they find fun. So they can force thier pov on people who don't want it. No one is forcing people to buy the game and the only reason people are even being exposed to it is because CNN and Kyra feel the need to expose people to it. I don't want to play a rape game but if somebody does then let them. as i said, the responsibility is with parentes until their child is of age then the responsibility is on them i have listined to hard rock like kiss and ac/dc, played shoot em up video games, watched dirty movies, and read novels with graphic violence and sexual content, and i have never felt the urge to go out and rape a woman, shoot up a grocery store or school, or commit some other act of crime. video games are just the latest fad to slap this label on but the responsibility ultimately falls on the parents to regulate what their children have access too. there have always been groups protesting the subject matter of things saying how inappropriate it is- from art to music to literature to movies and television shows. When i bought GTA San Andreas i was required to show my ID just as if i was buying alcohol. i dont have an issue about the content of the game, seeing how for the past 15 years not much has been said about such games like Doom, Duke Nuke 'em, or Grand Theft Auto – all games i have played extensively and found highly entertaining. The issue should be about regulating the sale of the game.
